Biblia Husema Broadcasting profile

Biblia Husema Broadcasting (BHB) is a Christian media house owned by the Africa Inland Church (AIC) Kenya. Its Swahili station, Biblia Husema Radio, is on 96.7 FM in Nairobi, according to a February 2020 Kenyans.co.ke report. The Communications Authority of Kenya's June 2026 register shows Bibilia Husema Broadcasting holding a commercial FM licence as BHB Radio, issued on 7 March 2018, and a free-to-air television licence. Kenyans.co.ke described BHB as among Kenya's oldest media companies.

The report lists further frequencies: 96.3 FM in Eldoret, 101.5 FM in Kisumu, 102.9 FM in Nakuru, 102.5 FM in Lokichogio and 105.3 FM in Voi. The English-language sister station, Truth FM on 90.7 FM, has shared a single news department with it. Programming rests on Christian teaching, gospel music and news for Swahili speakers.

BHB went through a difficult period in 2019 and 2020. Senior managers resigned in October 2019 around the time a new board was constituted, advertisers pulled back and some staff reported going months without pay. In February 2020 the company let go of at least 17 employees across both stations, and the shared newsroom was hit hardest. Swing presenter Denis Mulwa was among those named as affected.
