Egesa FM is an Ekegusii-language station owned by Royal Media Services. It broadcasts in Nairobi on 103.2 FM and in Kisii and Nyamira counties on 94.6 FM. Royal Media calls it Kenya's leading Gusii station, on air in Ekegusii around the clock.

Programmes draw on Abagusii identity, with what Royal Media calls a modern twist to attract younger, more upmarket listeners who still want a link to the culture. They cover lifestyle, current affairs, entertainment and culture, and aim to educate as well as entertain.

Royal Media's audience profile calls Egesa the most popular station in South Nyanza, made up of Kisii and Nyamira counties, citing a Synovate survey that placed it ahead of competitors there. About 68 per cent of listeners are rural and 32 per cent urban. As at many vernacular stations, the audience skews older and splits roughly evenly between men and women.

It belongs to Royal Media's regional network, which includes Radio Citizen, Inooro FM, Ramogi FM and Mulembe FM. It streams through Royal Media's radio platform and the Citizen Radio mobile app.
