Milele FM profile

Milele FM is a Swahili-language station run by Mediamax Network. It broadcasts in Nairobi on 104.8 FM.

Sister brands include Kameme FM and K24 TV. Communications Authority records cited by Kenyans.co.ke show the station registered under TV Africa Kenya Holdings, a company associated with the Kenyatta family, and managed by Mediamax Network Ltd.

In August 2018 Milele made headlines by relaunching with a line-up drawn largely from rivals. Alex Mwakideu and Jalang'o took breakfast, and Wilbroda and Francis Luchivya took mid-morning. Former Radio Citizen football commentator Kaka Zema joined Dee on the evening drive, Titi Nagwala kept Rhumba Oxygen, and Alibaba and Mwikilisha hosted Reggae Zone. Joyce Gituro, formerly host of Radio Citizen's Pambazuka, also came across.

In June 2020 comedian Francis Munyao, known as MCA Tricky, joined from Radio Maisha to replace Jalang'o on Milele Breakfast, alongside Mwakideu and Chris The Bass. He later hosted Milele Drive. He left in June 2026 after six years, following a disagreement with management over a request for study leave. Line-ups have changed several times since 2018, so check Milele's own channels for the current schedule.
