Sulwe FM is a Lubukusu-language station owned by Royal Media Services, broadcasting on 89.6 FM. It serves the Bukusu of western Kenya and, Royal Media says, gives space to other dialects of the region, including Wanga, Kabras, Tachoni, Banyala, Batura, Bakhayo and Bagisu.

Its slogan is 'Nakhalondo Yefwe'. Royal Media calls the programming diverse and informative, covering news, music, cultural discussion and education, and aimed at preserving Bukusu culture as well as entertaining. With Vuuka FM for the Maragoli, it is one of two dialect stations alongside Mulembe FM, the group's general Luhya station.

Weekdays open with breakfast show Bwasia ne Sulwe (5am to 10am), named for the break of dawn. Then come Mumilimo, a mid-morning show on commitment to work hosted by Esther, youth show Banjuka, evening drive Mwakitela and the late-night Omundu no Mundu, on marriage and relationships.

Weekends include Bwasia Munyongesa, sports programme Kemubikuri and Avelikhanga, a weekly show in Tachoni. Esther Waswa, also known as Esther Syombo, hosts Esango ya Sulwe, and Eliud Situma hosts the gospel show Ekelesia ya Sulwe. Music shows cover Luhya music, reggae, rhumba and South African kwaito.
