Truth FM profile

Truth FM is an English-language Christian station on 90.7 FM. A February 2020 Kenyans.co.ke report says it belongs to Biblia Husema Broadcasting (BHB), the media house owned by the Africa Inland Church (AIC) Kenya. Its Swahili-language sister, Biblia Husema Radio, has shared a single news department with it.

The report described BHB as among Kenya's oldest media companies. Senior managers had resigned in October 2019, around the time a new board was constituted, and advertisers had drifted away. After months of financial strain, with some employees saying they had gone more than three months unpaid, BHB let go of at least 17 staff across both stations in February 2020.

The newsroom was hit hardest. Truth FM was left with only two presenters and had to play music back to back for much of the day. Those named as affected included Gospel Switch host Cynthia Njuguna, breakfast host Daniel Anunda, Tess Libanze and Big Testimony presenter Israel Kagiri. BHB told departing staff they would get their dues once funds became available.

The station plays gospel music and Christian programming for Nairobi listeners. We could not confirm its current line-up or whether full programming has returned since 2020.
